More Than Housing. A foundation for Independence.
We run a home for young adults who are aging out of foster care or experiencing homelessness. Residents find stability, mentorship, belonging and a fresh sense of purpose. We look at the whole person, with emotional, spiritual, educational and financial needs, not just a place to sleep.
Young adults come to us through community referrals, social service agencies or by reaching out directly. We sit down with each applicant to learn their needs and goals and see if the program fits. From there, each resident sets personal goals for school, work, money, emotional health and living on their own. Regular check-ins keep those goals on track.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Abraham’s house foundation?
Abraham’s House Foundation is a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping young adults ages 18 to 21 transition from foster care or homelessness toward independent living. Our vision includes transitional housing, mentorship, counseling, education, career development, and continued support. We are currently developing our first residential program.
Is Abraham’s House currently accepting residents?
Not yet. Our first residential program is currently in development. We look forward to sharing updates as we move closer to opening our doors.
Do applicants have to be christian?
No. Abraham’s House is Christ-centered, but we welcome young adults of all faiths and backgrounds. Participation in prayer, Bible study, and spiritual mentorship is completely voluntary.
How will my progress be measured?
Growth looks different for everyone. Through individual goals, practical milestones, and regular check-ins, residents can recognize their achievements, identify areas for improvement, and take pride in how far they've come.
What help do I get when I'm ready to move out?
Preparing to move out is about more than finding a place to live. Abraham's House will offer permanent housing options that provide greater independence while still offering structure and support for residents who need it. These less-controlled housing arrangements are designed to help young adults build confidence and practice independent living at their own pace. Residents will receive support with understanding rental agreements, managing monthly expenses, maintaining a household, and accessing ongoing resources. Our goal is to provide a stable next step for young adults who are ready for more independence but may still benefit from guidance and accountability.
How can I support Abraham's House Foundation?
You can help bring our vision to life through financial contributions, community partnerships, donated resources, and volunteer interest. Your involvement helps us lay the foundation for our future programs.
